Junior High Learning Journey

In the High School Department, inspired by GVS Mission Statement, we receive and welcome students with all the support and care that each individual student needs at such an age considering individual differences, backgrounds, potentials and all other personality aspects and differences. At GVS, we respect differences and appreciate them. We work with each and every individual student as a Unique Promising Identity with Unique Potentials.

The transition to High School stage often coincides with important social, emotional and physiological changes in the lives of teens (adolescents).  During this remarkable stage of their lives, they experience significant rapid developmental changes; Physical, Intellectual, Moral, and Social-Emotional.

In brief, GVS provides a safe environment for all students to grow and develop, learn and connect.  We are proud to take part and contribute in the development and upbringing of your children to becoming well-educated, balanced, confident citizens.

MASLOW Hierarchy of Basic Needs

Academic Learning

Determined to graduate globally competitive students, we use different pedagogical approaches. Green Valley is a pioneering school that seeks growth to enable its students through curricular and extracurricular activities, hand in hand. To illustrate, students work on reading a classic, study staging in drama classes and finally work collaboratively on rewriting or recreating a play to finally act it out on stage in a meticulously planned event that incorporates different skills needed, from editing to writing to staging to custom design to public speaking and finally synergistic presentation. An interwoven shawl of skills and learning experiences that warps students safe and prepared for a variety of successful futures that they deemed to follow.

Non-Academic Learning

Non-Academic classes are known to teach students about leadership and teamwork. They lead to better cognition, creativity, anf help students to become self-reliant. Extra-curricular activities have their vital contributions towards children’s education without a shred of doubt. Trips lead to better peer-to-peer relationships and bonding with teachers. Circle time is an excellent way to deal with stress and anxiety.
